Subject Overview
Years 10 & 11
Students follow the GCSE AQA (8463) Physics syllabus or AQA (8464) Combined Science Trilogy syllabus. Students have one 2 hour lessons per week.
Student also have the opportunity to follow the GCSE Edexcel (1AS0) Astronomy syllabus as an additional qualification.
Years 12 & 13
Students taking A’ Level Physics follow the new GCE AQA 7408 syllabus. Students have two 2 hour lessons per week, one 1 hour lesson and additional study periods.
